About The Position

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking an Automatic Door Installer in Tampa, Florida. The role installs a variety of automatic door systems, including revolving, sliding, folding, and swinging doors, as well as door hardware. Candidates with mechanical and electrical aptitude and experience with access control, hollow metal, or automatic doors are encouraged to apply. A $2,500 hiring bonus is offered to applicants with verifiable industry experience in automatic door systems who are AAADM certified. AAADM certification is required. DH Pace is a family-owned, privately held company with annual sales over $1 billion and more than 60 offices across the continental United States. It distributes, installs, maintains, and repairs commercial, industrial, and residential door, docking, and security products. In 2026, the company will celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Requirements

AAADM certification is required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Ability to safely lift 100 pounds.
Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
Successful completion of employment verifications, a background check, a drug screen, and a driving record check (if applicable) is required before hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience in a similar role, or in a role requiring mechanical and electrical aptitude, preferred.
Experience with access control, hollow metal, or automatic doors is encouraged.
Verifiable industry experience in automatic door systems and AAADM certification qualify applicants for the $2,500 hiring bonus.

Responsibilities

Install a wide range of automatic doors and door hardware, including swinging, sliding, bi-folding, and revolving doors.
Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
Operate in a safety-conscious manner while performing job duties.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
