About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Foreign Partner Advisor to support our customer onsite in McLean, Va. Responsibilities include facilitating project prioritization, production, and updates. The role involves working closely with senior USG representatives to de-conflict and align disparate views, drafting cables to the field and detailed coordination documents, and providing briefings to senior executives. In coordination with the government lead, the advisor will explore ways to enhance project functionality, increase efficiencies, and disseminate data to those with a mission "need to know". Additionally, the position requires reviewing and providing input to draft policy documents, facilitating internal review of draft documents, and tracking complex interactions with interagency partners at the highest levels of the IC and key allies. The role also includes arranging meetings, escorting visitors, taking detailed notes, following up on action items, and assisting in organizing IC working groups, meetings, boards, and other forums. The advisor will also assist in developing recommendations, resolving issues, and implementing specific agency policies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS and 8+ years of experience; or no degree and 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI with Poly level clearance is required
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, to include rules of composition and grammar, and the ability to convey complex information and ideas clearly to employees at all staff levels.
  • Familiarity with foreign affairs.
  • Knowledge of the national security, and intelligence communities to include intelligence policy, IC missions, and interagency coordination to build and sustain effective working relationships and promote the sharing of information.
  • Interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including an ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment and to sustain professional networks both internal and external to the customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply support concepts, principles, and practices while dealing with a variety of time-sensitive technical and administrative requirements and procedures.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, good organizational skills and outstanding time management skills.
