About The Position

The Foreign Assistance Program Analyst will support a government client. The role involves assisting in the design, implementation, and monitoring of foreign assistance programs. Responsibilities include supporting the development of program plans, budgets, and performance frameworks aligned with U.S. foreign policy goals. The analyst will coordinate with various government entities, including regional and functional bureaus, overseas missions, and interagency partners, to gather program requirements and track progress. Key tasks involve preparing briefing materials, performance reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for senior leadership and stakeholders. The role also includes evaluating program outcomes to identify areas for improvement in effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, the analyst will provide knowledge management support, which entails organizing site structures, managing content, and enhancing collaboration through workflow development and user guidance. The position also supports the drafting of policy guidance, strategic plans, and foreign assistance portfolio reviews, as well as assisting in coordination meetings, consultations, workshops, and interagency reviews.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • TWO (2) years or more of experience in foreign assistance, international programs, federal government programs, or related work.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience with U.S. foreign assistance programs (e.g., Department of State, USAID, DOD security cooperation).
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred

Responsibilities
