About The Position

The Foreign Assistance Program Analyst will support a government client. The responsibilities will include assisting in the design, implementation, and monitoring of foreign assistance programs. This role involves supporting the development of program plans, budgets, and performance frameworks in alignment with U.S. foreign policy goals. The analyst will coordinate with regional and functional bureaus, overseas missions, and interagency partners to gather program requirements and track progress. Key tasks include preparing briefing materials, performance reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate program progress to senior leadership and stakeholders. The role also involves evaluating program outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, the analyst will provide knowledge management support by organizing site structures, managing content, and improving collaboration through workflow development and user guidance. The position also supports drafting policy guidance, strategic plans, and foreign assistance portfolio reviews, as well as supporting coordination meetings, consultations, workshops, and interagency reviews.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • TWO (2) years or more of experience in foreign assistance, international programs, federal government programs, or related work

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with U.S. foreign assistance programs (e.g., Department of State, USAID, DOD security cooperation)
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred
