  • High-level proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Proficiency in internet research activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with client systems such as LPS, Tempo, Vendorscape and others is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the legal process surrounding foreclosure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, preparing, assignments, motions, affidavits, and various other legal documents.
  • Ensuring timely, courteous, and thorough responses to a heavy volume of email correspondence.
  • Developing and maintaining congenial relationships with business associates and clients.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients at every level of interaction.
  • Providing support to attorneys in a high volume, time sensitive atmosphere.
  • Preparation and filing of status updates prior to scheduled hearing.
  • Providing regular and timely client status updates, as well as continual follow-up on outstanding documents and or services.
  • Review expired Notices of Default and communicate with the client to ensure most updated figures have been received.
  • Monitor for executed client declarations.
  • File client declarations with the court.
  • Researches and analyzes law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes.
  • Prepares legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, initial and amended articles of incorporation, stock certificates and other securities, buy-sell agreements, closing papers and binders, deeds, and trust instruments for review, approval, and use by VP, general counsel.
  • Investigates facts and law of case to determine causes of action and to prepare case accordingly.
  • Performs other clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, taking dictation, composing and typing routine correspondence, and reading and routing incoming mail.
  • Prepares affidavits of documents and maintains document file.
