About The Position

The Forecasting and Demand Planning Specialist plays a key role in forecasting, ordering, logistics, and fleet planning across the Polaris Adventures network. The role collaborates across teams to forecast vehicle demand, coordinate transportation and delivery, maintain fleet availability, and support vehicle disposition activities. Using data, planning processes, and stakeholder relationships, the specialist identifies inventory risks, improves predictability, and supports timely business decisions across multiple stages of the vehicle lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in relationship- or needs-based forecasting, demand planning, or logistics.
Ability to manage relationships across multiple organizations and locations while addressing a variety of business needs.
Experience developing and delivering presentations and communicating effectively with groups and clients of varying sizes.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, use diplomacy, and address conflicts or concerns.
Ability to think conceptually, develop strategic plans, navigate challenges, remove barriers, and work through issues.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain vehicle, accessory, and distribution forecasts using Excel, dashboards, and ERP data while supporting data integrity.
Lead monthly SIOP/Demand Reviews with cross-functional teams to align forecasts, inventory requirements, and business needs.
Forecast, track, analyze, and regularly report key fleet and operational metrics to management.
Review and approve fleet orders for accuracy and feasibility against forecasted plans, identifying potential inventory shortages, excess stock, and production capacity constraints.
Coordinate vehicle logistics and delivery activities to support contracted deadlines and timely revenue recognition.
Manage fleet model availability within the ERP system and monitor model-year transitions and new product initiatives for potential business impacts.
Build and maintain relationships with partners to support ongoing vehicle disposition and repeat purchases.
Communicate relevant outfitter order information, product changes, constraints, and other fleet considerations to management and team members.
