About The Position

Our dealership is seeking a Ford Master Technician to take on a specialized training and development role. This position is designed for a highly experienced Ford technician who has a deep understanding of Ford vehicles, repair procedures, diagnostic systems, and all applicable Ford programs and resources. You will not be responsible for repairing customer vehicles. Instead, you will be responsible for taking entry-level C Technicians and developing them into confident, reliable, knowledgeable technicians who can properly diagnose, repair, and service Ford vehicles. The trainer will work with up to four C Technicians at a time, providing hands-on guidance, technical instruction, coaching, and daily support as they progress through their training.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working on Ford vehicles.
  • Current, comprehensive knowledge of Ford vehicles, technology, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of all Ford programs and technical resources required to properly diagnose and repair Ford vehicles.
  • Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns.

  • Promote proper work habits, safety, quality, documentation, and professionalism.
  • Build technicians who can consistently perform quality repairs with increasing independence.
  • Serve as the technical resource and mentor for the technicians assigned to you.
