In this position... Lead the Ford Customization Events strategy and Ford Custom Garage (FCG) marketing strategy. Role will be responsible for driving the end-to-end execution of events (SEMA/Dealer Show/activations and delivering annual FCG volume targets. This role serves as the single point of contact for Ford customization marketing and events, streamlining messaging across all channels (Genuine Ford Accessory (GFA)/Ford Licensed Accessory (FLA)/Ford Racing (FR)/eComm) to grow awareness, consideration, and demand for Ford Customization products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 10–15 years of working experience.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage complex event logistics, marketing launches, and multi-million dollar budgets.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to prepare and present project status and results to leadership.
  • Ability to lead the creation of marketing materials that support the business and financial objectives of the team.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Planning, Program Management, FCS, Brand Teams, and Ford Racing.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and familiarity with eCommerce systems.
  • Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Marketing & Events team, including FAD and Dealer needs.
  • Lead messaging strategies and annual marketing plans for Ford Customization, ensuring brand integration across various marketing event channels.
  • Attend FCG meetings as the Marketing Lead and execute requests for marketing support.
  • Lead photo shoots and marketing material creation (hero cards, sell sheets, catalogs, and order guide companions) with creative agencies to support Ford Custom Garage package launches.
  • Maintain accuracy of existing marketing materials, including model year changes and Bill of Material (BOM) updates.
  • Lead integration of FCG messaging into corporate platforms, including Ford.com, Build and Price, and major events.
  • Lead Marcom efforts to grow awareness and sales of FCG packages to existing owners and new car buyers.
  • Support strategic initiatives to drive FCG packages into traditional vehicle marketing tools such as build and price.
  • Manage the comprehensive Events strategy and budget that include full activation events and secondary tier events.
  • Work cross functionally with brand teams to show up effectively and efficiently at events with large Ford presence.
  • Develop ROI framework to support growth of events calendar.
  • Secure all Statements of Work (SOWs), Purchase Orders (POs), and parts/accessories required for the events calendar.
  • Liaise for events messaging to ensure consistent communication strategy.
  • Align regional events to promote sales via Dealers in coordination with Ford Authorized Distributors (FADs).
  • Support customization Brand Integration and cross-functional initiatives for GFA, FLA, and FR.
  • Manage maintenance of the FCG website and B2B SharePoint/FMCDealer sites, ensuring creative assets are accurate and posted on time.
  • Leverage event lead generation data to drive incremental accessory and FCG sales.
  • Lead and develop a team of GSR and Agency employees through project delegation, coaching, and time management.
  • Foster a collaborative group environment to execute go-to-market messaging and disrupt traditional growth patterns.
  • Drive accountability for team results and professional development.
