Requirements

2+ years of Service Technician experience required
Ford Certifications required
Experience with various transmission types
Basic computer skills
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble transmission units.
Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Execute repairs under warranty to Ford's precise factory specifications.
Inform Service Advisors of needed repairs, time estimates, and warranty status.
