About The Position
To supervise youth football games as scheduled by the Moab City Recreation Department.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Responsibilities
- Attends referee clinic.
- Learn the rules of football and specific league rules.
- Arrives 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time dressed and ready to start the game.
- Starts all games on time.
- Comes prepared with the following: Umpire shirt, Running shoes, Whistle, Stop watch, Penalty flag, Penalty card cheat sheet, Pencil and notepad, Hat, Rule book.
- Attends any coaches meetings to establish rapport.
- Learns to be consistent in calling games.
