About The Position

The purpose of this role is to supervise youth football games as scheduled by the Moab City Recreation Department. The referee works under the direction of the Sports Manager and is responsible for learning and applying football rules, arriving on time for games, and ensuring games start promptly. The role requires attendance at a referee clinic and any coaches' meetings to establish rapport and consistency in game calls. The work environment involves extended periods of standing, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Speaking, hearing, and seeing are essential functions. The work schedule may include irregular hours and weekends. Applicants must complete a formal application, pass a pre-employment drug test, and a background check. Finalists will be interviewed by the appropriate hiring authority.

Responsibilities
