About The Position
This position is for a Football Assistant Coach at Chiawana High School within the Pasco School District. The role involves assisting in the direction of the football program, adhering to all WIAA and district rules, and participating in required training. The salary is based on the current Coaching Salary Schedule. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Previous head coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
- Direct all phases of athletic program.
- Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
- Attend District training regarding concussion management.
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
