About The Position

The Food Service Sales Coordinator will provide direct support to a geographical region of the country comprised of our customers and brokers and share deduction and rebate management responsibilities. This role involves communicating and maintaining program details with external customers/brokers, coordinating activities cross-functionally with internal departments, and serving as a central point for logistics, order entry, production planning, and invoicing. The coordinator will also assist in maintaining the product portfolio on the Foodservice Sales database and customer portals, research and maintain accurate electronic records on customer deductions, and collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve deduction issues or collect paybacks. Additionally, the role requires addressing customer order issues related to pricing, quantities, and date changes, and completing special projects as assigned. Essential functions include effective communication, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, calculating and processing rebate and marketing-related payments, coordinating and processing deductions, leading repayment requests, and professionally interacting with customers. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and work both independently and as part of a team. It involves extensive computer systems/software operation and regular use of office equipment. The work is primarily sedentary with substantial hand and wrist movements, and requires visual acuity for data analysis, transcription, and reading.

  • Requires the visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading
  • 4-year college degree strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in a sales-related field
  • Must be proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate, maintain, and administer program details with assigned external customers/brokers
  • Coordinate various activities by working cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Serve as the hub for logistics, order entry, production planning, invoicing, and other internal departments
  • Assist in maintaining product portfolio on Foodservice Sales database and customer portals
  • Research and maintain accurate electronic records on customer deductions and related communications
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve deductions or collect a payback
  • Address/resolve customer order issues pertaining to (pricing, quantities, date changes, etc.)
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Attend essential training meetings and develop an understanding of all company systems and products
  • Calculate, manage, and process rebate and marketing-related payments
  • Coordinate, analyze, and process deductions in coordination with peers and sales staff
  • Lead repayment requests and track progress
  • Professionally address verbal and written interactions with customers
