About The Position
Whiskey Cake is seeking a Foodrunner to join their team. The Foodrunner will be responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with care, ensuring plates are presented beautifully and match ticket details. This role involves clear communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management, assisting with table maintenance, and supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team during peak service. The Foodrunner will also maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service areas, upholding Whiskey Cake's standards for quality, hospitality, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to move quickly and stay focused in a high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person
Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with care
- Ensure plates are presented beautifully and match ticket details

- Assist with table maintenance (pre-bussing, running sauces/condiments, refills as needed)
- Support the kitchen and front-of-house team during peak service
