About The Position

We are seeking a high-energy, versatile Food Truck & Events Manager to lead our mobile operations. This is a dynamic role that bridges the gap between hands-on culinary execution, high-stakes logistics at stadium events, and administrative business growth. You will be the "CEO of the Truck," responsible for everything from driving and staff management to closing sales deals. You will also work to support our Operations Manager as he leads our stadium team by running stadium shifts and assisting with logistics and food/supply running.

Requirements

  • Vehicle must have current plates with valid insurance.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
  • At least 2 years of experience driving a food truck, box truck, or similar large vehicle.
  • Proven ability to operate a kitchen or mobile kitchen (generators, propane, water systems).
  • 2+ years in a leadership role within the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role with a track record of closing sales or managing client accounts.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, work in high-heat environments, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification must be current or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the food truck/box truck to various locations and perform full setup and breakdown, including leveling the vehicle and connecting utilities (propane, generators, water).
  • Lead shifts at major stadium events, managing "runners" or assisting with running to ensure the truck and stadium booths remains stocked during high-volume periods.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections (tire pressure, fluids, fuel levels) and schedule routine maintenance for the truck and onboard kitchen equipment.
  • Perform weekly audits and order supplies/ingredients to ensure zero waste and 100% menu availability.
  • Post job ads, interview, and hire a reliable "street team" for daily shifts and seasonal stadium events.
  • Create and manage staff schedules using Sling, balancing labor costs with projected sales volumes.
  • Onboard staff on food safety, POS systems, and our specific brand of customer service.
  • Lead by example on the line; provide real-time coaching and conduct performance reviews.
  • Monitor the sales inbox; respond to catering and event inquiries within 18-24 hours.
  • Negotiate pricing, send quotes, and finalize contracts for private parties, corporate lunches, and festivals.
  • Maintain a 5-star presence on the window and resolve customer complaints instantly and professionally.
  • Reconcile daily sales and manage cash deposits.
  • Ensure the truck meets all local health department, fire marshal, and stadium-specific safety regulations at all times.
