About The Position

The Momiji Food Truck is part of the Momiji Lebanon family, serving up great food and friendly service wherever we go. Whether you're visiting us at our regular location or catching us at a special event, our goal is simple: delicious food, fast service, and a welcoming experience every time. The Food Truck Crew Member position is a cross-trained position requiring employees to work in all areas of the business, including food preparation, cooking, customer service, point-of-sale (POS) operations, cleaning, stocking, and event support. Our food truck operates from a permanent location and is also used for special events throughout the year. Team members may also have opportunities to work shifts in our brick-and-mortar location as business needs require. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, team-oriented, and willing to learn every aspect of the operation.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask and work in a faced paced environment at a consistent tempo.
  • Must be able to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system, and other electronics
  • Must have a valid food handler card and OLCC serving permit
  • Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of food truck operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to stand and walk continually for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift.
  • Ability to balance a serving tray with one hand and distribute food with the other
  • Ability to lift, bend, stoop and reach while carrying items up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment
  • Must have manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food service, restaurant, food truck, retail, or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and food safety standards.
  • Take customer orders and process transactions using the POS system.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, kitchen, service areas, and equipment.
  • Assist with food prep, ingredient portioning, and inventory management.
  • Receive and stock deliveries and supplies.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
  • Follow all health department regulations, food safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.
  • Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown of off-site events and catering functions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support operations at the brick-and-mortar location when scheduled or needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
