Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Cashier at our Food Store in Swan River, MB. Co-op does business differently. Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Through the work of what we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together.

Requirements

Strongly service oriented, motivated, and capable of serving customers in a courteous, efficient manner.
Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver work that best meets our team and customers' needs.
Willing to complete online training for the responsible sales of lottery products.
Bondable, and will consent to a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
Operate a cash register, take payment from customers and provide change.
Follow all legal requirements regarding the sale of lottery products.
Assist in the ordering and stocking of confectionary lines and checkout supplies.
Present a neat, clean, well-merchandised department and related work areas (checkout areas and nearby displays).
