This position requires both a written and oral exam for consideration. The Food Services Worker III (Manager) supervises a crew of food services workers in a self-contained unit, maintaining records and preparing periodic reports. This role is responsible for preparing breakfast and/or lunch meals following prescribed menus and standardized recipes, ordering supplies and food, and receiving and checking deliveries for accuracy. Additionally, the position involves taking temperatures of cold and frozen food items and recording them on the HASSP log, managing daily cash receipts, including sorting and counting bills and coins, and preparing bank deposit slips.
