About The Position

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor/Manager III, the Food Services Worker I participates in and assists with the preparation, setup, and service of food items and meals, including meals and snacks for regular and special functions. The position also performs routine duties such as handling inventory, cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, work and serving areas, and operating a computerized point of sale system.

Applicants must submit a new, complete online EDJOIN application; a resume does not replace the application. The selected candidate must obtain a Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion. Employment is contingent on Department of Justice fingerprint clearance; fingerprinting costs $44, payable by money order, cashier’s check, or cash. Current district employees who have already received fingerprint clearance do not need to repeat it.

Requirements

• Selected candidate must have a Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion.
• Obtain Department of Justice fingerprint clearance, unless already cleared as a current Pomona Unified School District employee.
