About The Position

Cook (Tech II) — Food & Nutrition Services Fuel recovery with great food and warm service. As a Cook at NARMC, you’ll prepare quality meals for patients, visitors, and staff while following diet guidelines, safety, and sanitation standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of cooking experience

Nice To Haves

  • ServSafe or similar food safety certification
  • Hospital or large-volume experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve hot/cold foods; set up service lines; follow recipes, safety, and sanitation procedures; and support inventory and cleaning tasks.
  • Cook, portion, and present menu items; restock and maintain serving lines.
  • Follow safe food handling, sanitation, and equipment-use procedures; complete daily/weekly cleaning.
  • Receive/stock deliveries and rotate inventory; support teamwork across shifts.
