The Village of Hamilton Continuing Care located in Hamilton, ON has an exciting opportunity for an unscheduled Food Service Aide to join their team. Requirements

Current Student looking for experience working in a Long Term Care or Retirement Home Setting or Enrolled/Completed the Food Services Worker Certification program
Willing to obtain a valid Safe Food Handlers certificate
Be excited by our Mission, Vision and Values that shape all aspects of life at Schlegel Villages
Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members

Responsibilities

Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents.
Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.
Assist with the preparation of catering functions and events.
Maintain and clean dining room and workspace.
