About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Food Nutrition Services team as a part-time Food Server. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional service to our clients by assisting in the preparation and delivery of nutritious meals. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met while contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with established guidelines and menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage food service operations during peak hours.
• Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development as required.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events or activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
