About The Position
The Food Service Cashier accurately and rapidly ring meals on the cash register, while demonstrating good customer service for the Food & Nutrition Department. As a “Food Service Cashier” you will: Assist in collecting money for food sold in the cafeteria. To prepare and display food for sale in the cafeteria. To maintain sanitation of all equipment within the cafeteria. Restocking all retail items as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have or be pursuing high school diploma or equivalent four years of work-related experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English
- Ability to add and subtract numbers.
- Ability to handle patron complaints with respect.
