About The Position

Schedules available: Full Time (1 position), Supplemental - PRN (2 positions), Part-Time (1 position) - Rotating shifts between the hours 6am – 8pm (hours worked vary according to the needs of the department). Please identify which position you are interested in on your application. Work Location: North Hospital (Onsite). Department Supported: Nutrition Services.

Requirements

• Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
• Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
• Requires the ability to climb ladders.
• Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public.
• Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service.
• Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety.
• Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
