This position is responsible for monitoring product quality at various stations, ensuring recipe compliance, and adherence to departmental guidelines. The role also focuses on meeting productivity and serving line schedules, minimizing product waste, controlling costs, and managing food and supplies according to portion control guidelines. Additionally, the Food Services Assistant oversees equipment and supply utilization and maintenance, performs utility and dish room functions, and ensures proper cleaning of items. A key aspect of the role is contributing to positive patient and customer satisfaction by meeting high service and quality standards, and maintaining excellent sanitation ratings. The position requires adherence to all workplace safety and sanitation rules, completion of required training, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
