About The Position

GREAT work opportunity for anyone looking for 30 - 40 hours per week. We are looking for Food Service Workers to join our team at the Texas A&M Campus. The role will be filling orders or working as cashier. This could include building sandwiches, cleaning tables, light dishwashing, cashiering, taking orders, etc. This person should have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and enjoy working with all types of people. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience working in the food service industry.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid Food Handler's Card
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• A good memory to manage multiple orders at the same time and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent patrons
• Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly
• Ability to lift 15 pounds at a time
• Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and reach over your head

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold beverages for customers, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, while correctly customizing orders.
• Prepare and serve food and baked goods, including sandwiches, biscotti, muffins, and bagels.
• Describe product details to customers and answer questions about dietary needs or allergies.
• Ensure all workstations are stocked with necessary products.
• Clean and sanitize all work areas and customer-seating areas.
