About The Position

The Village of Ridgeview Court has exciting opportunities for Food Service Workers to join their team. This is a permanent part-time position located at The Village of Ridgeview Court, 545 Dymott Ave, Milton, ON L9E 2C9. The expected start date is late July/early August 2026. The hiring rate for this role is $22.28 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Shift details include an Evening Shift from 4:15 PM to 8:15 PM (28 Hours Biweekly) or a Day Shift from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM (26 Hours Biweekly). This includes working every other weekend. Requirements

• Hold a valid Food Handlers certification
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
• Be able to lift up to 35lbs
• Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.
• Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents.
• Assist with the preparation of catering functions and events.
• Maintain a clean dining room and workspace.
