FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
The Food Service Worker prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. The role includes preparing ingredients, handling and storing food safely, cleaning work areas and equipment, distributing supplies, and following approved recipes and production standards. Workers serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, address customer concerns, and follow company service, inventory, cash-control, sanitation, and safety standards. The position is available full-time and part-time at the Docusign location in Seattle, Washington. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM; additional details are provided during the interview.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience is required.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas using required wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner according to outlined service steps.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Follow company service standards and inventory and cash-control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
