FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL AND PART TIME)
About The Position
Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring full-time and part-time Food Service Workers at Jessup University in Rocklin, California. The role prepares, presents, and serves food as needed. Days and hours may vary, and evening and weekend availability is required. Major holidays are off; employees also receive a free shift meal and parking. The pay range is $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. Bon Appétit operates cafés for corporations, universities, and museums, along with public restaurants. Requirements
- One year of food service experience is required.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
- Must be able to perform the position's essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare produce by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry food pans, kettles, and trays between work stations, stoves, and refrigerators in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas and follow wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
- Follow approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, following outlined service steps.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to a supervisor.
- Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
