Food Service Worker - Dietary
About The Position
Desert Valley Hospital, a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform patient and non-patient food service duties. The role includes preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on the tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, washing dishes and pots, mopping and sweeping floors, and emptying trash. Other related tasks may also be assigned. Desert Valley Hospital is an accredited 148-bed acute care hospital in Southern California. It offers community services including heart care, emergency services, labor and delivery, and surgical services.
Requirements
- County-specific Food Handlers certification is required upon hire and must be kept current.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
