About The Position

Responsible for preparing patient trays and accurately setting up and delivering patient meals to provide quality service and support patients’ optimum health. The position is with Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of proper food preparation, handling, and storage.
• Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care or service appropriate to the ages of patients served in the assigned unit or department.
• Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
