About The Position

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is recruiting experienced Cooks and Food Service Workers for a long-term care nursing facility in Cortland, NY. This role involves preparing meals, delivering them to residents, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Nursing Home, Senior Living, Hospital, or Healthcare experience required.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired.
• 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
• Delivering trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
• Assembling resident meal trays.
• Working in the dish room and pot sink
• Sweeping and mopping.
• Disposal of trash and recyclables
• Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
