Under the direction of the chefs and the Chef Supervisor, washes dishes and cleans equipment, floors and any other sanitation procedures asked of them. This role involves assisting in the general sanitation of the kitchen, setting up the dishmachine for meal service, washing dishes, sorting silverware, cleaning glasses, maintaining cleanliness of pots and pans, cleaning kitchen equipment, organizing and cleaning storerooms and coolers, removing garbage and recycling, assisting with special cleaning projects, following dress code, receiving deliveries, and attending scheduled in-services.
