About The Position

This is a 12-month, Non-Exempt position with evening hours to be determined based on school assignment. The salary scale is AFSCME UA, Grade 3-4. The role involves cleaning and maintaining school buildings and grounds, assisting with supplies and equipment, and performing related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Operations or the School/Building Principal. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor.
• Good verbal communications and human relation skills.
• A willingness to work overtime as required in cases of emergency.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and cares for floors.
• Collects refuse both inside and outside the building.
• Dusts and cleans walls, windows, ceilings, and equipment.
• Cares for exterior of building and grounds.
• Assists in receipt and relocation of supplies and equipment.
• Regular on time attendance.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Operations or the School/Building Principal.
