Baptist Health is seeking a full-time Food Service Worker for the Bistro/Dietary department in the NEW TOWER. This role is responsible for preparing, assembling, and delivering patient meals according to quality, service, infection control, and food safety standards. The position also involves delivering supplies to patient floor kitchens, serving guests with excellent customer service, replenishing food and supplies, performing sanitation duties, and handling dish room tasks. Additionally, the role includes collecting payments for guest trays, processing food sales transactions as a cashier, and setting up/serving meals for various dining outlets including corporate retail, catering, and the Doctors Dining Room. Buffet and reception table decoration may also be assigned. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring customer safety, comfort, and satisfaction through high-quality food preparation and service, or by supporting colleagues in these tasks. The role requires the ability to perform all functions independently and to cross-train in food service responsibilities, with the capacity to train others.
