Prepares, seasons and cooks food for usage in an eating establishment. This role involves providing food service that meets company standards for ingredient quantity, quality, safety, and consistency. The worker will maintain knowledge of all product offerings, ensure fast service and delicious food, and prepare food items per menu and recipes. They will also adjust thermostat controls, clean and sanitize work areas and equipment, store food properly, read food orders, serve meals, and comply with food and store safety programs. Receiving products from vendors and documenting bad merchandise are also part of the duties. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
