About The Position

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare meals for clients in their large commercial kitchen. This role involves planning, preparing, cooking, and serving meals to students, clients, and staff in a cafeteria setting, with the ability to prepare over 500 meals daily. The position operates under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager and may include other assigned duties. This is a full-time position located at the LifeSPRING kitchen in Macon, GA. The schedule is either Monday-Friday 5:30 am-1:30 pm or Monday-Friday 7 am-3 pm, with one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday) and all holidays required. Requirements

Consistent work history in a large food service kitchen.
Ability to work well with a team.
Demonstrate excellent customer service with a positive demeanor when dealing with clients.
High School Diploma.
Reasonable computer skills (time clock, email).
Agrees without reservation to work schedule and maintain good attendance and punctuality.
Must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.

Kitchen/Food service experience is optional but helpful.
