About The Position
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare meals for clients at their large commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a consistent work history in a large food service kitchen and the ability to work well with a team preparing and serving over 500 meals a day. Under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager, this position plans, prepares, cooks, and serves meals to students, clients, and staff in a cafeteria setting. Other job-related duties will be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Reasonable computer skills (time clock, email)
- Agrees without reservation to work schedule and maintain good attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities
- Plans, prepares, cooks, and serves meals to students, clients, and staff in a cafeteria setting.
- Adheres to food safety standards at all times, ensuring all food is free of contaminants and pathogens.
- Cleans pots, pans, and other dishes in the kitchen as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service with a positive demeanor when dealing with clients.
