Within the context of a client and family centered model of care and, in accordance with Vancouver Coastal Health’s (VCH) values, “ We Care for Everyone, We are Always Learning, and We strive for Better Results”, the position promotes a safe and respectful working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Reporting to the Coordinator and/or the Manager, Food Services, and with work direction from the Food Service Supervisor, and/or the Cook, the Food Service Worker carries out a variety of duties according to Food Safe protocols and quality and safety standards. This Food Service Worker role is a retail position. The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.
