Within the context of a client and family centered model of care and, in accordance with Vancouver Coastal Health’s (VCH) values, “ We Care for Everyone, We are Always Learning, and We strive for Better Results”, the position promotes a safe and respectful working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Reporting to the Coordinator and/or the Manager, Food Services, and with work direction from the Food Service Supervisor, and/or the Cook, the Food Service Worker carries out a variety of duties according to Food Safe protocols and quality and safety standards.
