About The Position

The Food Service Worker II prepares, cooks, bakes, and serves regular or special meals for clients and/or staff at the Cache Valley Youth Center. The role supports nutritious meal service for youth and requires following recipes, working as part of a team, and standing for long periods. It is an in-office, on-site position at 2051 N 600 W, Logan, Utah. The position is full-time and eligible for a full benefits package. Salary is $15.28. A background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Cook, bake, or serve regular and/or special meals to clients and/or staff.
• Ensure food is maintained at appropriate temperatures.
• Prepare salads and garnishes and assist with basic food preparation or ordering.
• Distribute food using appropriate food-handling and sanitation techniques.
• Follow food-safety and public-health protection practices.
• Maintain inventory.
• Track receipts.
• Clean, sterilize, and/or disinfect areas and equipment.
• Use cleaning agents, products, and equipment.
