About The Position

Barnes Jewish St. Peter's is seeking Food Service Workers to join their team. This role is crucial in providing quality food service to cafeteria customers, ensuring speed of service and customer courtesy. The position involves preparing food, setting up service areas, portioning and serving food, maintaining sanitation, and assisting customers with their requests. The hospital serves the healthcare needs of families in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren counties, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.

Requirements

• No Supervisor Experience

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service in a professional and friendly manner, and follows food safety and portion guidelines.
• Ensures work area is set up and supplies and products are organized before, during and after shift.
• Cleans and sanitizes work station and utensils.
• Uses equipment and materials properly and safely.
• Accurately assembles meals according to the menu, diet order and correct protocol.
• Building patient trays/cold production
