This position is responsible for working in the dishroom, ensuring the cleanliness of all dishes, pots, pans, and the general kitchen area. The role also involves keeping floors clean, taking out trash, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and delivering/retrieving food carts and supplies. Additionally, the Food Service Worker will assist in other kitchen duties as needed and clean assigned areas following established practices and procedures for quality, safety, and infection control. The job requires the ability to speak and read English sufficiently for the role, knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computer software, and proficient use of a Windows computer. The employee must follow Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards, and carry out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.
