The View/ Food Service Worker I/Fall 2026
About The Position
The View location provides meals for the greater campus community. An excellent way to meet other students and be a part of a diverse team. Student food service workers are active participants within Dining Services in providing nourishment, superior guest service, and a welcoming environment for students, staff, and guests. We will train individuals in the areas of proper food handling, food serving & storage, as well has proper hygiene and sanitization best practices. This job requires a sense of urgency and friendliness that is welcoming to all. We are very accommodating to varied schedules being open from 7 am until 9 pm 6 days a week. Closed on Sundays.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of the hospitality industry
- Commitment to best practices in ensuring a food safe environment
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Able to lift at least 20 lbs throughout a shift
- Degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels
- Actively enrolled at least part-time in courses for credit
