About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Food Service Worker I in the Food and Nutrition Services Department at Texas Health Dallas. The role involves serving food on cafeteria and patient tray lines, assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, documenting food delivery times, and performing simple record keeping. The position also requires routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment, and washing and sanitizing dishes and cooking utensils. The worker will perform other job duties as assigned by their Supervisor/Manager. Texas Health Dallas is an 875-bed, Magnet-designated, full-service hospital serving the Dallas community since 1966, specializing in various areas including cancer care, cardiology, neurosciences, women's services, and emergency medicine. It is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Care Center, a Level I Trauma Center, a Cycle IV Chest Pain Center, and a designated Magnet hospital.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days required
