About The Position

This is a full-time Food Service Worker I position in the Nonpatient Food Services department at Texas Health Dallas. The role involves serving food on the cafeteria and patient tray lines, assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, documenting food delivery times, performing simple record keeping, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils. Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days required

Responsibilities

• Serves food on the cafeteria and patient tray lines
• Assemble, deliver and retrieve patient trays
• Documents food delivery times and performs simple record keeping.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment routinely
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, and all cooking utensils
• Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
