About The Position

This is an entry-level position suitable for students with basic foundational knowledge and little to no practical experience, ideal for freshmen or sophomores who have completed only introductory courses. The role is located in the Gateway - Island Buffet department. The scope of the position includes bussing and resetting tables, cleaning up spills in the assigned work area, and interacting with guests by answering questions and addressing concerns. All new hires must complete the Form I-9 to verify their eligibility to work in the U.S. by providing actual documents proving identity and work authorization. Requirements

  • Good health and capable of full body movement.
  • Able to lift, pull, and push items weighing up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • Must exemplify the university Honor Code, including the Dress and Grooming Principles and Expectations.
  • Must attach resume and current semester class schedule (weekly view).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience helpful but not necessary.
  • Preference will be given to students who can work during academic breaks.
