About The Position

This position will be 28.75 hours per week, Monday-Friday, following the student calendar, with the specific hours per day to be determined. The role requires the ability to learn food preparation and follow operational procedures for efficient and effective food production and service. Dependability, good attendance, and punctuality are essential. The position involves providing an environment conducive to protecting the health and well-being of the school's children through high levels of food safety. The ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community is crucial. This includes knowledge and awareness of one's own cultural identity and how it influences behavior, a desire to learn about the cultural identity of others, and the ability to establish and nurture an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment of staff, students, and patrons of the District. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be dependable, good attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 45lbs.
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community.
  • Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior, and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others.
  • Ability to recognize that each person is a unique individual even as we celebrate their group cultural heritage.
