About The Position

This position will be 28.75 hours per week, Monday-Friday, following the student calendar, with the specific hours per day to be determined. The role requires the ability to learn food preparation and follow operational procedures for efficient and effective food production and service. A key aspect of this role is to provide an environment conducive to protecting the health and well-being of the school's children through high levels of food safety. The position also emphasizes the ability to relate and work effectively with parents, staff, students, and the public in a multicultural and multiracial community, fostering an environment that promotes cultural competence and equitable treatment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be dependable, have good attendance and punctuality.
Must be in good physical condition and able to lift up to 45lbs.
Knowledge and awareness of own cultural identity and how this influences behavior, and desire to learn about the cultural identity of others.
