About The Position
Camp program is 11 weeks with year round opportunities available based on performance. Flexible Schedule- Mandatory Fun! FOOD SERVICE UTILITY WORKER – HELP US KEEP OUR KITCHEN SPARKLING! Do you take pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly? Our nutrition team is looking for a dependable Food Service Utility Worker to help us maintain a safe, spotless kitchen and support meal service for students every day. At Whitsons, we believe every role is essential in fueling young minds and supporting learning. Requirements
- High School or GED
- Speak and read English
- Be able to lift 40 pounds or more
- To stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools and controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to lift and move up to 40 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include being able to see in dim lit areas such as walk-ins and storage areas.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or janitorial experience
- Food Handling certification
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Clean and sanitize prep areas, counters, and floors
- Take out trash and keep storage areas tidy
- Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries
- Support the kitchen team with basic prep tasks when needed
